Aug ' 26 Crude Oil Report

In our July 2026 report (6-Jul-26, Brent @ $71.94), we had expected Brent to test $64 before consolidating within the $64-90 range till Mar-27. Thereafter, the prices were expected to slowly rise back to $100/bl or higher going further into 2027. Re-escalation in Middle East tensions led to another rally in crude prices, taking Brent to $102 on 23-July-26 before the prices eased again by the end of the month as the tensions eased between US and Iran.
